Stay & Service

A generous breakfast with regional products, an extensive afternoon snack with hot and cold dishes, a multi-course dinner menu in the evening, use of the 2,000 m² wellness area with pools & saunas, a fitness area, cozy bathrobes & a spa bag for the duration of your stay, as well as Wi-Fi and a free parking garage. Seasonal services (e.g. ski-in/ski-out, indoor golf) are also part of your Riml experience.

Check-in is possible from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival, and check-out on the day of departure is until 10:00 am. If possible, we are happy to arrange an early check-in or late check-out (subject to availability and for an additional charge). For an additional fee, you may continue to use the wellness area and our afternoon buffet on the day of departure – ideal for a relaxing end to your stay. Upon request, we provide free changing facilities and showers. Your luggage can be safely stored in the luggage room.

Hotel Riml is a retreat for guests aged 14 and above. Spacious relaxation areas, plenty of room to unwind and a particularly pleasant atmosphere make your ski and spa holiday even more relaxing. Without children’s noise, you can enjoy peaceful wellness areas, relaxed evenings and a pleasant atmosphere during dinner.

Would you like to enjoy your holiday with your four-legged companion? Dogs are very welcome at Hotel Riml (for an additional fee). Your dog may accompany you in your room, in the lobby area, on the bar’s sun terrace and in selected areas of the restaurant. This way, you can enjoy many moments of your stay together. Out of consideration for all guests, the outdoor pool as well as the spa and wellness area are reserved exclusively for our two-legged guests.

The cancellation policies depend on the respective season. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the details applicable to your reservation. To ensure you are well protected in case of unforeseen events, we recommend taking out travel insurance.

You are welcome to have breakfast with us on the day of arrival. Please let us know briefly in advance. Breakfast is available for an additional charge.
Arrival & Parking

Yes, you can easily arrive by public transport. Take the train to Ötztal railway station and then continue to Hochgurgl by bus or taxi. We are also happy to pick you up from the bus stop in Untergurgl with our hotel shuttle. Please let us know your approximate arrival time in advance.

We are happy to organize a transfer through one of our partners upon request. Please provide us with your arrival time, flight number and the number of passengers – we will take care of the rest for you. For optimal planning, please also let us know if you are bringing ski equipment, as a larger shuttle may be required.

Yes, you can park conveniently and protected from the weather in our in-house garage – of course free of charge for our guests. Upon arrival, simply stop in front of the reception. Our porter will take care of the rest: he will park your car safely in the garage and bring your luggage to your room. Our team will also be happy to assist you on departure – we help with loading your luggage and bring your vehicle to the entrance for you.

Yes, charging stations for electric vehicles are available in our garage. Use is subject to a fee and the costs are charged per charging session.

Take the Inntal motorway (A12) to the Ötztal exit. From there, follow the B186 Ötztalstraße for about 45 km through the valley via Sölden and Zwieselstein towards Obergurgl / Hochgurgl. Shortly before Obergurgl, turn left towards Hochgurgl and follow the road up to the ski area. Hotel Riml is located directly in the Hochgurgl ski area. During the winter months, please make sure your vehicle is equipped for winter conditions or carry snow chains. We are happy to inform you about the current road and weather conditions before your arrival.

At the Hotel Riml you can enjoy a diverse sauna landscape featuring a panorama Finnish sauna, sky sauna, medium-temperature sauna, event sauna, textile sauna as well as herbal and aroma steam baths. The facilities are complemented by ice fountains, foot whirlpools and spacious relaxation rooms.

Yes – and not just one! Our indoor pool (7 × 15 m) with breathtaking mountain views is the perfect place to relax your muscles after an active ski day or simply unwind.
In addition, the Alpine Spa features a textile infinity pool with massage jets that provides soothing deep relaxation – with views of the surrounding 3,000-meter peaks.
Another highlight is the infinity pool in our Sky Relax Area on the 4th floor (nude area). From here you can enjoy an impressive panorama of the Ötztal Alps.

In one of our three spacious relaxation areas with comfortable loungers, cozy cuddle corners and a panorama lounge you can truly unwind and recharge. Alternatively, relax on the soothing infrared loungers in the Alpine Spa, which provide gentle warmth and deep relaxation. Here you experience alpine tranquility at its purest – far away from everyday life and close to nature. Adults Only means absolute calm and pure relaxation.

At the Hotel Riml Spa you can enjoy a wide range of massages, beauty and body treatments. These include classic back and full-body massages, head, leg and foot reflexology massages as well as special treatments such as hot stone massage, lymphatic drainage or herbal stamp massage. The offer is complemented by facial treatments, body scrubs, body wraps and beauty treatments for hands, feet and eyes. All treatments are individually tailored to your needs and provide holistic relaxation and renewed energy.

The wellness area at Hotel Riml features a versatile sauna landscape with various heat and relaxation zones. These include panorama saunas, steam baths and several relaxation areas with views of the Ötztal Alps. A special highlight is the Sky Relax Area on the rooftop, where modern panorama saunas (approx. 70 °C and 90 °C) are located. From here you can enjoy impressive views of the surrounding mountain scenery. The offer is complemented by an outdoor whirlpool, relaxation areas and daily sauna infusions with changing aromas. The spacious spa area extends over several levels and combines soothing warmth, alpine tranquility and spectacular views at over 2,000 meters above sea level.

Yes. At Hotel Riml you can enjoy several pools: a panorama indoor pool at approx. 29 °C, a textile infinity pool in the Alpine Spa at approx. 36 °C and a heated infinity pool in the Sky Relax Area (nude area), also at approx. 36 °C. All pools offer impressive views of the surrounding mountain scenery of the Ötztal Alps and invite you to relax after an active day in the mountains.

Yes – you can! Europe’s largest hotel indoor golf facility at Hotel Riml makes golfing possible even in winter. Practice your drive on four modern golf simulators or play legendary courses virtually – with real ball feeling and independent of weather or season.

The facility covers around 700 m² and is one of the largest in Europe. You can enjoy state-of-the-art golf simulators (Full Swing & TrackMan), a putting green as well as analysis tools for technique & swing. Perfect for professionals, beginners and everyone who enjoys the game.

Yes, of course. Whether you are a beginner or an ambitious golfer – private lessons and courses can be booked directly at the reception. The golf pro will help you improve posture, tempo and precision with individual coaching and state-of-the-art technology.

Very realistic! High-tech simulators precisely track ball flight, speed and direction. You can play real courses from around the world – with instant feedback on your swing, almost like being outside on the fairway.

The facility is primarily reserved for our hotel guests. If available, external golfers are also welcome upon request. The best option is to call us or send an inquiry.
Culinary & Dining

Alpine gourmet cuisine at 2,200 m above sea level – refined, regional and creatively interpreted. In the morning enjoy a rich breakfast, in the afternoon a balanced buffet with hot and cold dishes, and in the evening a multi-course menu of choice with Tyrolean classics and international influences.

Yes, of course. Please inform us about any food intolerances or dietary preferences when booking or upon arrival – our kitchen team will gladly prepare suitable alternatives.

Our ¾ gourmet board is usually included – featuring breakfast, an afternoon buffet and an evening menu. Drinks are charged separately. For special occasions we are happy to arrange a romantic dinner or selected wine pairings.

In a stylish atmosphere with panoramic views – in our elegant restaurant with several traditional dining rooms. For hotel guests, a small à-la-carte lunch menu is also available (approx. 12:00–14:00). Please note that we cannot accept specific table requests.

Yes – the Jägerstube is the exclusive fine dining restaurant at Hotel Riml. It opens three times per week and delights guests with refined gourmet cuisine in a stylish alpine atmosphere. Due to the limited number of seats, advance reservation is required.

Yes, we kindly ask guests to wear smart casual evening attire at dinner. As a sporty-elegant hotel we value a pleasant atmosphere – therefore we ask you to refrain from wearing shorts, sweatpants, sandals or flip-flops. Closed shoes are required for hygienic reasons. However, formal attire such as tuxedos or evening gowns is not necessary.
