Getting here

By car

Drivers can choose between the following routes to get to Hotel Riml:

If you’re coming from Munich, follow the signs to Innsbruck via Kufstein along the A12 Inntal autobahn and continue along the autobahn until the Ötztal exit. From there take the Ötztaler Hauptstrasse until you reach Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.

If you’re coming from Kempten, follow the road to Füssen, Reutte, cross the Fern Pass, head towards Imst, then continue through the Ötztal until you reach Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.

You will require a “vignette” (a windscreen sticker) in order to drive on Austrian motorways. Vignettes are on sale at petrol stations. 

Route planner

By rail

Take any train to Ötztal railway station, from where you can take the bus through the Ötztal, and then get off at Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. lternatively, take any train to Innsbruck and change to the Ötztal bus service which stops at Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.  

By air

Flights arrive and depart from Innsbruck, Munich and Salzburg. From there you can take the bus or train to Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.
